Amival specializes in HR services for startups and small to medium-sized enterprises. It offers tailored solutions in recruitment, employee management, and compliance, helping businesses manage their workforce effectively while adhering to regulations like the GDPR. With a focus on transparency and customization, Amival aims to build trust and support clients in overcoming HR challenges.

The Problem

As a new entrant in the HR consulting industry, Amival HR Solutions lacked an online platform to effectively connect with potential clients. Without a website, their communication methods were fragmented, making it difficult for customers to understand their services or engage with the company. The absence of a centralized platform hindered clients from easily contacting Amival, submitting job positions, or uploading necessary documents. This gap in digital presence created confusion, missed opportunities, and reduced Amival’s ability to attract and convert leads. Developing a user-friendly platform became essential to address these challenges and establish a strong foundation for growth.

Proposed Solution

To resolve these challenges, I designed a streamlined, user-centric website that transforms how Amival interacts with clients. The new platform features an intuitive layout, clearly showcasing their three distinct service packages, allowing potential customers to easily compare and choose the best fit. Communication is significantly improved with easy-to-use forms, live chat options, and dedicated sections where users can confirm positions or upload documents directly through the site. A cohesive design enhances the company’s credibility and makes navigation seamless, boosting client engagement and satisfaction. This holistic solution not only simplifies user interactions but also reinforces Amival’s brand presence, supporting their growth in the competitive HR industry.

Before the project kickoff, I thoroughly reviewed the comprehensive requirements document provided by Amival to understand how HR stakeholders envisioned utilizing the platform. Since the company did not have an existing website, I worked closely with the stakeholders to clarify their goals and expectations for the user experience. During this process, I identified areas where terminology and functionality needed further definition to ensure the platform would meet user needs effectively.

In follow-up discussions with the client, I explored their vision for HR management features, such as employee onboarding and data handling. This collaborative approach helped refine the project’s direction, allowing me to design a user experience from the ground up that aligned with Amival’s mission and values.

Mapping the user journey for Amival was an exercise in empathy and precision. For Anna, the HR manager, the focus was on seamless candidate sourcing with full support. For Jan, the job seeker, the goal was a frictionless and transparent process. By addressing their distinct needs, the journey map became a blueprint for intuitive, meaningful interactions, reinforcing Amival’s mission to connect people and opportunities.

2.2 User Flow Diagram

For efficient design, I worked on a key user flow for Amival—focused on guiding both companies and applicants through data collection via forms, which is central to the platform. I addressed the complexity of this flow independently and refined areas that required improvement. This process allowed me to apply my UX research and design thinking skills to create a smooth, user-friendly experience for both user groups.

3.1 Wireframe

Designing the wireframes for Amival was about balancing efficiency with empathy. I envisioned Anna, an HR manager, needing an intuitive tool with streamlined forms and effective communication channels, and Jan, a job seeker, wanting a supportive and transparent process. My wireframes mapped their journeys, ensuring each interaction felt natural and engaging. Every detail reinforced Amival’s mission: bridging talent and opportunity through a thoughtful, human-centric design focused on forms and clear connection.

3.2 UI Iterations

Refining the UI for Amival was a continuous journey of enhancing usability and delighting users. I focused on Julia, the HR manager, by iterating on dashboard layouts and optimizing form interactions to ensure her tasks were seamless and efficient.
